Steve Richvalsky

Steve RichvalskySteve is Chief Financial Officer of Ardesta. Steve has nearly twenty years experience in financial, operational and international management for technology companies in the areas of life science, software, services and communication. Steve currently serves on the board of directors of several of Ardesta's portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Ardesta, from 1997 to 2002, Steve served as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Genomic Solutions, Inc., a global provider of life science instrumentation and services with it's wholly owned subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and Japan. While at Genomic Solutions, Steve was a key participant in the firm's initial public offering ("IPO"). Steve helped raise over $100 million in capital for Genomic Solutions through various sources including venture capital, strategic partner equity, commercial banks and lenders and ultimately in the IPO. Steve was responsible for building and leading the accounting, finance, information systems, human resources, facilities and investor relations functions of the Company. Steve was also actively involved in the strategic initiatives of the Company, including acquiring several companies and ultimately in selling Genomic Solutions to Harvard Biosciences.

Before joining Genomic Solutions, Steve held various financial and international management positions at Comshare, Inc., Galileo International (formerly Covia) and U.S. Robotics, Inc.

Steve received a bachelor of science in business administration, while majoring in accounting, from John Carroll University. He passed the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) examination and began his career at Ernst & Young.
