HandyLab Announces Raider Real-Time PCR System

Ann Arbor, MI – HandyLab, Inc., a developer of novel molecular diagnostic testing products, announced the release of its Raider Real-Time PCR Instrument. Nucleic Acid testing reagents for a variety of sample matrices and tests will be available soon after the release of the Raider Instrument. Raider provides automated, microfluidic nucleic acid amplification and detection with results available from purified nucleic acid in less than fifteen minutes.

HandyLab's novel microfluidic instrumentation and nucleic acid reagents can be used in both clinical and industrial applications. According to Mark Powelson, VP of sales and marketing, “The release of the Raider System is the first step in achieving our vision of fast, easy to use nucleic acid testing systems for any size laboratory - thus, better serving diverse patient populations.”
