Sensicast Partners with ei3 to Offer Remote Monitoring of Mesh Sensor Networks

NEEDHAM, Mass. & MONTVALE, N.J.--Aug. 4, 2004-- Integration and Service Offering will Augment Mesh Sensor Networks with 24-hour Monitoring and Control for Critical Systems in Facilities Sensicast Systems, provider of wireless sensor networking products and solutions, and ei3 Corporation, creator of hardware, software and services to support real-time remote monitoring, today announced a strategic development and distribution partnership. Under the agreement, Sensicast's Sensor Networking Platform will be integrated with ei3's Remote Monitoring Network to offer commercial facilities a solution for real-time sensor monitoring and analysis. This new, always-on sensor solution will be used throughout a range of facilities where immediate response to sensor data is desired or necessary, ranging from industrial processing sites where fault conditions can spawn enormous costs to complexes where immediate control and understanding of energy consumption will provide economic and ecological benefits.
