ANN ARBOR, MI. July 15, 2002-Malcolm Kahn, 55, has been named president and CEO of Sensicore, Ardesta CEO Rick Snyder recently announced.
Kahn has extensive senior management experience in high-tech venture capital-backed companies and in turnaround situations. He has been president and CEO of three companies over a 20-year period including New Logic (an Emeryville, California membrane technology company), Membrex Inc. (also a membrane company based in Fairfield, New Jersey), and Kratos International plc (a UK-based cutting edge scientific instrument company). Prior to Kratos, he worked for two divisions of Millipore Corporation and spent nine years at Pfizer in various capacities from controller to director of marketing within their medical diagnostics business.
Kahn holds a BA in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Fordham University.
Based in Ann Arbor, Mich., Sensicore's innovative microsensor research has successfully developed a lab-on-a-chip multi-sensor device for a wide variety of water and wastewater applications from process control to environmental monitoring. It is Ardesta's first start-up company. Sensicore's first products will be in the marketplace next year.
